I was asked to paint this view of the Sacred Grove on Joseph Smith’s childhood farm in upstate New York by some of my favorite people, for whom this place has special meaning. It’s pretty darn uplifting no matter who’s farm it’s on.

I got to use a lot of different shades of green.
