Abstract works like this one amount to “playing with paint” for me. Put on some music, start a rough design in acrylic paint (which dries fast), and when it starts to feel well balanced (or acceptably out of balance), slather on oil paint to give it a rich character. Feel disappointed. Redo it three or four times over the next six months or so when inspiration strikes, until it speaks to you. Let dry. Hang on wall.
